this is a great idea. i've biked a lot in nyc, chicago, and philadelphia, and it's never made sense to me that those cities have better bike lanes, bike paths, and bike trails than wilmington, where the weather is so much better for biking. when i ride in wilmington i feel very vulnerable. i would love to see this project happen.

We are very interested in your project since we wish to ride bikes to the beach and work. Our office abuts the trail but the map we have access to doesnt offer enough detail as to where it goes. The unfinished section we presume is behind our office. We are most concerned about the section accessing Wrightsville Ave. It is currently very unsafe. Will you be adding a bike lane? This must be part of your plan to be effective.

I can't wait to be able to ride my bike safely to the beach!
